FarmSupplies.ie is an independent buyer's guide and supplier directory for Irish farmers. We are not a reseller, not a merchant, and not owned by any supplier listed on the site. This page explains how we make money and how we keep editorial independence.
How we make money
- Lead-matching fees — When you submit an enquiry and we pass your details to suitable Irish suppliers, those suppliers may pay us a small fee for the introduction. This does not add any cost to you.
- Affiliate links — Some links to supplier websites may be affiliate links. If you make a purchase after clicking, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Not every outbound link is an affiliate link.
- Sponsored content — We may occasionally publish sponsored reviews or features. When we do, they are clearly labelled "Sponsored" at the top of the page. We've committed to keeping sponsored content under 10% of total content.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal data.
- We don't allow suppliers to dictate our editorial content.
- We don't accept payment for inclusion in the main supplier directory listings — they're picked on merit.
- We don't take undisclosed gifts from listed suppliers.
Editorial independence
Buyer's guides and blog articles are written by our editorial team based on public information, published prices, industry knowledge, and where possible first-hand review. Where a supplier contributes information, we verify independently before publishing. Where we disagree with a supplier's claim, we say so.
If you're a supplier and think we've got something wrong, email enquiries@farmsupplies.ie with evidence and we'll review.
Your rights as a reader
You're free to ignore our recommendations, buy direct from suppliers without going through us, or use the site purely for information. Nothing on the site is paywalled.
