Agri Dealers Ireland — Farm Supplies Directory

Independent directory of operating Irish agri-retailers, machinery routes and farm supply sources. We don't sell — we signpost. Entries are unsponsored unless explicitly flagged. Prices and availability change; confirm directly with the supplier before ordering.

Affiliate disclosure: FarmSupplies.ie may earn a small commission when enquiries convert to orders with some listed suppliers. Listing position and editorial notes are never influenced by commission rates. Neutral entries are unaffiliated.
Choosing a supplier route: use co-op branches for account pricing, feed and fertiliser; online specialists for fencing, handling and small hardware; marketplaces for used farm machinery price discovery; and local dealers for machinery parts, warranty and urgent workshop support.

Hire vs buy

For farm machinery, the best supplier is rarely the cheapest web listing. Start with the machine's job, likely annual hours, parts availability and who can service it in your county. Use marketplaces for price discovery, then ask local dealers about warranty support, delivery, setup and common wear parts before committing.

Co-op, online specialist, local merchant

For fencing, ask each supplier to price the same finished specification: metres, livestock class, strainers, intermediate posts, top wire, gates, electrics, delivery and VAT. This avoids false comparisons where one quote includes a complete cattle fence and another only includes the stock wire.

Best for
Broad catalogue, animal health, fencing

One of Ireland's oldest online-only farm supplies retailers. Particularly strong on animal health (POM-VPS and licensed merchant range), fencing and electric fence consumables. Delivery across Ireland and the UK is a genuine advantage — fewer minimum-order headaches than most Irish co-ops. Not always the cheapest on bagged feed, but reliable stock for hardware and husbandry products.

Gibsons Farm Services

Cork, Limerick, Kerry, Clare

Collection + regional delivery
Best for
Physical retail, same-day collection, livestock feed

Long-standing Munster chain with seven bricks-and-mortar depots. Dominant brand in the south for general farm supplies, livestock feed and hardware. Online click-and-collect works well when you're already driving past a branch. Less competitive on courier delivery outside Munster — pick Gibsons if you can collect.

Fane Valley Stores

Branches + farm delivery
Best for
Own-brand feed, dairy-sector farmers

Co-operative-backed agri retailer strong across the border counties and northwest. Own-brand concentrate feed and fertiliser often beat brand-name equivalents on price per tonne. Particularly useful for dairy farmers within a 40 km radius of a branch. Bulk-feed blower deliveries available in most ROI border counties.

Best for
Specialty feed supplements, targeted livestock products

Smaller family-run operation focused on the three main Irish livestock sectors. Good curation rather than warehouse volume — if you want a guided opinion on a supplement or a sector-specific bolus, their phone service is better than the bigger online catalogues. Not the right choice for general hardware.

Services
Feed, seed, fertiliser, machinery hire
Best for
Bulk pricing, labour-and-machinery hire

Farm Relief Services is the farmer-owned nationwide co-operative that combines labour services with purchasing power on inputs. Members access bulk-priced feed, fertiliser and seed, plus short-term machinery hire (teagasc-approved). Worth a look even if you already co-op with Glanbia / Kerry / Dairygold — FRS pricing can beat primary co-op on specific SKUs.

Dairygold Co-op

Munster · Dairy co-op
Type
Farmer-owned co-op
Base
Mitchelstown, Cork
Best for
Dairy feed, fertiliser, member pricing
Retail
~30 agri stores

One of Ireland's largest farmer-owned dairy co-ops — c.3,000 milk-supplying members. The agri-retail arm runs ~30 stores across Munster and south Leinster, with competitive member pricing on concentrate feed and straight fertiliser. Non-members can still shop at retail prices. Strongest leverage is for dairy farmers in the catchment.

Tirlán (formerly Glanbia Ireland)

Leinster & South East
Type
Farmer-owned co-op
Base
Kilkenny / Laois / Waterford / Wexford
Best for
Dairy, tillage, grain-to-feed integration
Retail
~50 Countrylife & CountryLife stores

Tirlán (the rebrand of Glanbia's Irish co-op side) is the biggest agri-retail network in the southeast and Leinster. Strong on dairy concentrates, grain handling and seed. Tillage farmers get decent value on herbicide and seed combos through member pricing. Countrylife stores are the retail frontend — broader than just members.

Lakeland Dairies & LKL Agri

Midlands & Ulster
Type
Farmer-owned co-op (cross-border)
Base
Cavan HQ, branches across 15 counties
Best for
Cross-border farmers, milk + feed bundle

Cross-border co-op (ROI & NI) with particular strength in Cavan, Monaghan and south Ulster. LKL Agri is the agri-trading arm — concentrate feed, fertiliser, seeds and vet-supply range. Good first call for farmers operating across both jurisdictions.

Kerry Agribusiness

South & West
Type
Agribusiness (part of Kerry Group)
Base
Tralee, Listowel, Charleville
Best for
Dairy-sector farmers, own-brand feed

Kerry Group's agri-services side — feed mills, fertiliser blending, agronomy. Competitive on own-label concentrate in the southwest. Longer-standing milk-supplier relationships often translate to better feed/fertiliser pricing. Worth a price-check if you're already shipping milk to Kerry.

AgriDirect.ie

Best for
Fencing, livestock handling, electric fence kits

Online-led retailer with a strong reputation on fencing, electric fencing and livestock handling equipment. Often beats the big co-ops on 100 m rolls of high-tensile wire and gated-hurdle packs. Delivery is 2–3 days courier to most of Ireland.

Agriland Media Group (Marketplace)

Nationwide · Media + Classifieds
Type
Classifieds + editorial
Best for
Used machinery, buyer research, market prices

Not a retailer — a reference. Agriland's classifieds and machinery listings are the default Irish marketplace for used tractors, silage kit and implements. Pair with DoneDeal for wider search. The editorial side publishes weekly cattle / sheep / milk price summaries worth bookmarking.

DoneDeal Farming

Best for
Second-hand machinery, livestock, small tools

Ireland's largest general classifieds site has a strong farming vertical. For second-hand machinery (tractors, balers, mowers, trailers) it's the deepest Irish listings pool. Price discovery is the main win — easy to see what a 2015 5090M is actually moving at in Ireland this week.
